FYI – Judge scoring gives the most points for dance technique and choreography that both expresses the rhythm and enhances the music.
Order above to register and receive instant download access to 27 songs as MP3 files – use any one you want for your video. Before buying, you can read lyrics and hear the songs on the album pages Talking to Henry and Asking – you can also find my music on Apple Music, Spotify, and other official music streaming services.
The competition is simple and operates as not for profit – register your video before July 7, then on August 31 the winners are announced and all the funds received from the video registrations are paid out = 1st prize takes 50% + 2nd & 3rd prize each take 25%. For example, if we receive 1,000 videos and registration is $80 CAD then after admin, judge, and transaction fees of 5%: 1st place wins $38,000 CAD, 2nd & 3rd place each win $19,000 CAD.
Winners are announced August 31 each year – deadline to register is July 7 the month before.
You are welcome to add vocals and background sounds equal or less volume than the original.
To qualify, your video can not show any brands, labels, or company names – be careful of what is in the background and what you wear.

Complete the Video Entry Form by the deadline of July 7 using the same account holder name, email, and phone as ordered in past year – one video entry per paid registration as ordered above. For your video to qualify you must provide the public access URL(s) to your video, a list of all participants including choreographers / dancers / instructors / videographers / video editors and how the prize money is to be divided and paid out, the video source file in MP4 format, and give my sponsors and I permission to use your video in whole or in part in our future promotions.
FYI – Judge scoring gives points for views, shares, and likes – the sooner you share your video the better.
Notice your videos will play publicly with my music as you have permission to use them, unlike most music where the copyright blocks playing your videos publicly on most platforms.
You can checkout here securely and as soon as your payment clears you will have access to your downloads under ‘My Account’ when logged in. The included MP3 files are set so you have 400 days and can download each one up to 30 times to make it easy for you to download them onto all your personal devices and make sure you don’t lose them during the year.
FYI – Judge scoring reduces points for downloads of MP3 files from my website – the fewer downloads the better your score.
With this order and registration, so long as you have my MP3 files available to download, you and your dance school are allowed to use the music in your dance classes, videos, and competitions. You are also allowed to distribute my MP3 files to your participants, competitions, and dance school director. Do not share with any others until you have received my permission in writing before hand. Notice, when you login, if the MP3 files are NOT available to download here as of August 31st when announcing the winners, then your video will not qualify to win – this can happen if your payment was not received or if you violated any of the Terms and Conditions or Privacy Policy as agreed to when registering and ordering.
